[Time passes, as it always does. Zeno lives as he always does, as the building gets taller and the world gets smaller, drifting through the stream of humanity at as much of a distance as he can manage. He gets tired, at times, wanders off into the wilderness to be alone and then civilization keeps expanding into his safe zones, so eventually he just puts up with it, stays in the heavily populated cities and tries to escape notice.

Immortal as he is, he sometimes loses track of things, forgets when he last ate or slept, forgets that his body still needs it. So he can be found passed out in some shady alleyway, face down on the filthy ground, scruffy and unwashed and half-dead-looking]

[This is post-diece, when everyone's lives are "better" and Sion is a young master. But he's not living at home because he's going to college now and he almost walks past the lump in the alleyway. But something inside him (being soft) makes him stop and turn into the alleyway, cautiously kneeling to check if the kid even has a pulse.]
