[he is juggling on the sidewalk. this is not a super populated street or anything but he has drawn a small crowd, enough that he doesn't immediately notice Fukuzawa. that isn't to say he doesn't notice Fukuzawa at all, but he's sure not letting that on.]

[after several moments spent considering the mature response to finding the remains of a dead person -- gathering the last of the fallen sprigs of handpicked lavender, Ren reflects that it probably isn't throwing your hands into the air and shouting so hard your nose honks -- Ren chooses his next action with deliberation and care.

he takes a twig of birch and pokes the dead body in the shoulder, because if it isn't dead and he calls down the police for a drunk college student, he's going to feel like an ass.]

[that feeling is honestly nostalgic, though the Seiryuu of this time doesn't live anywhere near here, that blue flame feeling of hers far far in the distance. Zeno does his best to blend in and still keep that vaguely homeless air. his fondness for overlarge clothes works in his favor though, as well as the unwashed reality of his situation. but with his apparent age, as well as his looks, he still gets a certain amount of attention that he'd rather avoid, and he takes a moment to wonder if this is like that before casting the thought aside. this feels distinctly supernatural. so he goes out of his way to head to an isolated place, a little alley that's not too shady but not too frequented either, and calls out.] Hello.
